Questions you may have.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel your best - whatever that means to you. For a lot of people, that means cocktail attire. The venue has animal print carpets and tassel fringe ceilings in the bar, so if you feel like being a little over the top or 40s jazz club-inspired, we’d like that too.
Gentlemen, no ties neccessary.
What’s the deal with Welcome Drinks?
Everyone is invited! Julie and Lonnie Bartish will host families and guests from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gutter Bar (inside the Lafayette Hotel). Expect great drinks, fun bites, and two lanes of bowling.
I’m having issues booking a room using your link. What should I do?
Call the hotel directly and mention you are a guest for the Nelson/Bartish wedding; they will help you out. If you would like to extend your vacation, they can help with that, too.

Teri Nelson (Riley’s mom) will host the reception at Lou Lou’s on Saturday. Joined by Riley’s brother, Taylor, and his wife, Bridget.
On Friday, Lawrence and Julie Bartish (Tony’s parents) will host welcome drinks at the Gutter. Joined by Tony’s brothers Andy and his wife, Meggie, Joe and his wife Shawna, and Brian.
The most memorable faces of the weekend will be the cute ones - Drew, Ellie, Mila, Ava, Conor, and Cece.
Will there be parking?
The hotel will valet; however, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft if you plan to leave the property.
What can I expect weather-wise?
It’s San Diego, so expect temperatures between 65 and 72 degrees throughout the weekend. We plan to be poolside all day Sunday, so pack a suit if you want to join us.
